Jalapeno & Honey Garlic Battered Shrimp Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. Chop jalapeno
  2. Mix minced garlic and honey together and set aside.
  3. Pre heat oil in a large pot to 350 degrees.
  4. Rinse, peel, devein shrimp, leave tail intact if desired.
  5. Mix egg with hot sauce and mustard.
  6. Place shrimp in a large bowl, coat with spices, egg/hot sauce mixture and set aside.
  7. Mix all ingredients together in a freezer bag, shake well.
  8. Dip shrimp in the corn flour, coat well, and place into hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  9. I would do this in 2-3 batches.
  10. Cook shrimp for 2 minutes on each side.
  11. Drain on paper napkin.
  12. Squeeze a little lemon juice on hot shrimp if desired.
  13. Spread honey garlic sauce on one slice of bread.
  14. Top with 2 slices of cheese.
  15. Place jalapeno on top of cheese.
  16. Top with battered shrimp.
  17. Add 2 more slices of cheese
  18. Add honey garlic sauce on second slice of bread, and grill on a pan or a sandwich maker.
  19. Serve!
